Hey everyone! Here's my newest painting "New Fantastic Four"!
Since I grew up in the 90's (and that's when I had my introduction to comics) I have always loved how over the top things could be. I loved when they had Hulk, Ghost Rider, Wolverine, and Spiderman join up to be the New Fantastic Four; it was such a 90's thing to do! So this is my homage to that love of 90's comics.
This was actually a bit of a challenge as I did a lot of revisions trying to get a version of the Hulk's face that I felt really nailed how I wanted him to look. I also decided to go with smaller eyes on Spiderman, something I didn't intend to do since I'm a fan of the big 90's Todd McFarlane eyes. However, I felt like this helped to give more of a personal spin on him.
Tomorrow I'll put up an animated .GIF showing my process, until then enjoy!
