So here's my take on my first real assignment for my Structure and Proportion Class at the Art Institute. We were supposed to do our rendition of Dracula's Castle in 2 point perspective, on a mountain with the moon in the background.
Anyways, it ended up being pretty fun but I would have liked to have had some more time to work on the concept. However, we have a real tight deadline with that class and considering all my other homework I just had to do it. Probably the worst problem was that it was on 15" x 20" cold press illustration board so I couldn't use a light box to get my lines dead on. Nevertheless, it was good practice and i feel like I'm getting a little more comfortable with perspective.
Total time with thumbnails and final work 18-19 hours.
